OMM Fell Shoe

The OMM Fell Shoe is a technical fell running shoe developed with Vibram to provide grip and stability on varied, uneven and unpredictable terrain.

After 55 years at the heart of British mountain running, OMM has partnered with traction experts Vibram to create its first footwear – the Fell Shoe. A purpose-built fell running shoe rooted in OMM’s mountain heritage and technical innovation. OMM set out to build a shoe that inspires confidence in the mountains. A shoe that grips when it matters most – in mud, bog and rough mountain ground – whether you’re on a marked trail or well beyond it.

OMM combined three of Vibram's advanced traction technologies with their real-world mountain running experience to create a super-aggressive sole and bespoke lug pattern. Lug depths range from 8–11mm for maximum hold in soft ground and rock, while a 4mm drop and a weight of 272g deliver a light, precise and agile feel on technical terrain.

Features :

Rock Plate - A small EVA plate is embedded between the midsole and outsole. This spreads the impact and provides underfoot protection from sharp rocks and uneven terrain.

Wave Technology - Using both a Vibram outsole and midsole allowed OMM to mould a wave shape into the sole for improved stability and comfort. This wave reduces internal compression, limiting movement inside the shoe and helping to prevent hotspots and blisters.

Protective Upper - The tough rip-stop nylon mesh upper is re-enforced with TPU. This adds durability to withstand the toughest conditions and provide protection from rocks, brambles, heather and anything else the fells throw at them.

X-Lock - An adjustable lacing pattern reduces pressure points across your foot. This maintains tension, instilling confidence underfoot. The X-Lock also secures the tongue holding your foot securely on steep descents.
